Macallan 12 Year Single Malt

Profile: Sherry oak complexity, dried fruit, wood smoke, and vanilla.

Note: Premium single malts should be paired with recipes that complement rather than overpower the spirit.

• Macallan Scotch Highball

  • Ingredients:

    • 2 oz Macallan 12 Year

    • 4 oz chilled premium club soda or sparkling mineral water

    • Lemon peel twist

  • Method: Fill a highball glass with clear column or cubed ice. Pour Macallan, then pour chilled club soda slowly down the side of the glass to retain carbonation. Stir once softly. Express lemon twist over top.

  • Ingredients:

    • 2 oz Macallan 12 Year

    • 0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth

    • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

    • Brandied cherry

  • Method: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir thoroughly until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled Nick & Nora or coupe glass. Drop brandied cherry in glass.

  • Ingredients:

    • 2 oz Macallan 12 Year

    • 0.5 oz Drambuie (heather honey and herbal liqueur)

  • Method: Build directly in an Old Fashioned glass over ice cubes. Stir briefly to integrate.
